In the presence of the Honorable Prime Minister of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and Leader of Parliament Tarique Rahman, MP, the newly elected members of parliament for reserved women’s seats of the 13th National Parliament took oath.

At a ceremony organized at the oath-taking room of the National Parliament Building at 9 pm on Sunday (May 3, 2026), Honorable Speaker Major (Retd.) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, Bir Bikram administered the oath to the newly elected members of parliament. After the oath-taking ceremony, the newly elected MPs signed the oath book.

The oath-taking ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Secretary of the Parliament Secretariat Md. Golam Sarwar Bhuiyan conducted the overall activities at the ceremony.
With this, the formal activities of the newly elected members of the reserved women’s seats of the 13th National Parliament began.
