Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister expresses deep shock and sorrow over the death of Professor Begum Dilara Hafiz

Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism Afroza Khanam (Rita), MP, has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the death of distinguished educationist Professor Begum Dilara Hafiz, wife of Speaker of the National Assembly Hafiz Uddin Ahmed Bir Bikram.

In a condolence message, the minister said, Professor Begum Dilara Hafiz was a wise educationist and a person dedicated to social welfare. Her active life, deep passion for education and relentless efforts for the welfare of students will remain a unique example in the country’s educational arena.

She also said, the nation has lost a priceless asset with the passing of a talented, loving and responsible person like her. The nation will forever remember her contribution to the spread of education and the formation of human values ​​with respect.

The Minister prayed for the forgiveness of the departed soul and expressed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family members. He prayed to Allah Almighty to grant him Jannatul Firdous and give the bereaved family the strength to bear this deep grief.
