A parade and physical exercise exhibition were held at the Khulna District Stadium with colorful arrangements on the occasion of the Great Victory Day-2025. At the beginning of the celebration, Khulna Divisional Commissioner Mr. Md. Mokhtar Ahmed declared the auspicious opening by firing cannons, releasing balloons, festoons and pigeons.
The national flag was officially hoisted at the event and the national anthem was played together. Later, a fascinating parade and physical exercise exhibition was held with the participation of freedom fighters, police, Ansar-VDP, BNCC, Fire Service and Civil Defense, Prison Guard, Bangladesh Scouts, Rover Scouts, Girls Guides, school, college and madrasa students, and various educational and social institutions and children’s and youth organizations. After the exhibition, prizes were distributed among the winners.
A Bijoy Mela was organized along with various programs in this year’s Victory Day celebration. The guests who arrived at the event visited various stalls of the fair.
Khulna Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mr. Mohammad Zahidul Hasan, BPM (Services) and Khulna Range DIG Mr. Md. Rezaul Haque, PPM were present as guests at the event.
Khulna Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Mr. A. S. M. Jamshed Khandaker presided over the event. Also present were Khulna District Police Superintendent Mr. Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman, senior police officers, top officials of government and private administration, students of various educational institutions and a large number of common people.
