Yao Wen, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Bangladesh, met with top leaders of the Communist Party of Bangladesh on Tuesday (4 November 2025). The delegation included Sazzad Zahir Chandan, President of the Communist Party of Bangladesh, and Abdullah Kaffee, General Secretary of the party.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the current political situation in Bangladesh and ways to further strengthen Chinese-Bangladesh relations.
Ambassador Yao emphasized that the Communist Party of China remains committed to maintaining long-term friendly exchanges with all political parties in Bangladesh, including the Communist Party of Bangladesh. He also expressed readiness to enhance communication and deepen cooperation between the two countries under the new circumstances.
