Professor Muhammad Yunus, Chief Adviser to the interim government, left Dhaka for New York, USA, on Sunday (September 21, 2025) night to attend the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The chief advisor is accompanied by BNP representatives on the trip, including party Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and acting chairman Tarique Rahman’s foreign affairs advisor Humayun Kabir.
