Army Chief leaves for China on official visit

Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman, SBP, OSP, SGP, PSC, left for China on an official visit today, Thursday (21 August 2025).

During the visit, he will hold courtesy calls on high-ranking Chinese military and civilian officials and exchange views on enhancing bilateral cooperation in the military sector.

After the visit, the Army Chief will return to Bangladesh on 27 August 2025.
