A felicitated the meritorious students who passed the 2025 SSC examination at Bhasha Shaheed Abdul Jabbar Ansar VDP School and College, located on the premises of Bangladesh Ansar and VDP Academy in Safipur, Gazipur. This colorful program was held in two parts at Shaheed Elahi Auditorium at the academy on Tuesday (19 August 2025) at 11 am.
Brigadier General Fida Mahmud, AFWC, PSC, Additional Director General of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force and President of the school’s Governing Body, was present as the chief guest at the program. Mr. Mohammad Nurul Absar, Deputy Director General, Bangladesh Ansar and VDP Academy, was present as the special guest and gave an inspiring speech to the students.
This year, a total of 275 candidates participated in the SSC examination in the science, humanities and business education branches. Of these, 260 passed and 94 achieved GPA-5.
Teachers, guardians and students expressed their feelings at the event. Later, the chief guest said to the students in his speech – “Those who have left their mark of achievement today, remember that you are the future of tomorrow. May your success continue, so that we can organize such events in the future as well.”
Then he presented the meritorious students with commemorative crests and gifts. At the end of the event, the students participated in a photo session with the chief guest. In the second phase, a pleasant cultural program performed by the students impressed the guests and the audience.
In the first phase, there was a discussion and reception program and in the second phase, a pleasant cultural program was performed by the students.
The program was also attended by the Director of the Academy (Weapons Training) and the Principal of the School (Additional Responsibilities) Mr. Afzal Hossain, other officials, teachers, students and guardians.
